Digitally Exhausted came to be because I wanted a place to share my thoughts on tech’s societal impact. My writing covers social media’s spaghetti-like complexities, Big Tech, and action steps to balance digital life.
Reading (or listening) to Digitally Exhausted, I hope you become inspired to design the digital life you desire, not default or “opt-in” to one.

Pssssst… To the listeners tuning in, I talk slowly. If slow talkers are not your thing, I suggest increasing the voiceover speed to 1.5x.
Who are you uninterrupted? If life had no roadblocks, who would you be?
A Beekeeper? Poet? Perhaps a Chef de Partie doughing out pain au chocolats in a cafe in the South of France?
I had never been asked this question until my thumb swiped up to reveal it across my Instagram reel feed.
Felecia Hatcher, a confident woman, new to my sphere, with thick black glasses appeared on screen while I was attempting to distract myself. She is an Entrepreneur, the Author of Genius Jam & Uninterrupted, a Keynote Speaker, and the host of the So Ambitious Podcast.
Felecia shared ripples of deep reflection after being posed the question: Who are you uninterrupted?
The question stumped her! Me too!
Lean in and think about it… pause for a moment… Who are you uninterrupted?
It is easy to picture a life in your forever home, living in your dream city, making the big bucks but what if we take the question a buttery layer deeper? Let’s get to the chocolatey center.
If life had no red lights and you were driving through all the greens,
What would you be doing?
Where would you be?
How would you think?
Felecia talks about the limitations people place on each other, sharing how she was told success was not an option for a C student when she was in high school (bah humbug to that nonsense!)
What would have happened if Felecia soaked up those words? Who knows… She might not be the ambitious Entrepreneur she is today. She challenged and persevered! Felecia proved them wrong, but more importantly, she proved her capabilities to herself.
Who are you uninterrupted?
Hurricane season
The summer was my hurricane season and, funny enough, fell into actual hurricane season.
Difficult life events teach us a lot. You learn about yourself and other people, which is the best time to find out who your people are—the ones who have your best interests in mind and will be there to support you.
While I was in the eye of the storm, not only did I learn who these people are and are not, I discovered the power my internal interruptions had over me.
Hurricane season gave me the chance to be curious and investigate the internal interruptions I was letting get in the way of the life I was (am!) building.
Having peace and clarity again, I learned:
As cliché as it is, everything is a lesson.
You cannot manage your time if you cannot manage your attention.
Some people do not deserve your time and attention (this includes internally).
People who label others are most likely projecting and/or struggling.
Life hits us with the unexpected. I want to remind you that questioning what an uninterrupted life means to you is not only questioning the speed bumps we have to drive over, it is managing how we react and process them.
If the day was a never-ending green light, how would you drive?

Whenever you are, be there ✨
Finding myself with more time since the course I am taking is on holiday break, I am placing more of my attention into writing. When I need a break from the screen, instead of sitting on a porch (the southern soul inside me loves a good old porch sit) I open the back door to watch the magpies squawk.
Until next time,
Wherever you are, be there.
