Welcome to Digitally Exhausted!

Hello 👋 , my name is Celine. I am a writer, responsible tech advocate, and digital wellness inspirer.

If you couldn’t tell by the title of my Substack, I am digitally exhausted. Well… sometimes.

At the start of my self-employment career, I offered social media management services. After months of witnessing and being influenced to participate in the not-so-nice behaviors (e.g. comparison, questioning self-worth, inauthentic engagement, performative behavior, doomscrolling) that can happen from using the social internet, I almost DELETED all of my socials for good.

At the height of burnout, I stumbled across a term: digital wellness.

I thought, “How fascinating?” People can balance their digital lives with their physical lives? I was skeptical.

It wasn’t until I participated in Digital Wellness Day—sometime during the pandemic era—that I accepted digital wellbeing into my daily life.

I was able to connect with others who were desperate to change their digital habits, a seemingly impossible task with our online-all-the-time mindset culture.

My curiosity (and desperation for change) won.

Now, here I am writing Digitally Exhausted to not only connect with other individuals who feel digitally exhausted but to plant inspiration seeds for people to get curious and reflect on the technology in their lives.
